Tai Chi Retreats

JOIN US IN CHARNEY MANOR 11TH – 13TH OCTOBER 2024

Our first retreat took place in May 2024 at Charney Manor in Oxfordshire and was a huge success. The sixteen attendees loved the location, the food, the classes and the walks.

There are many special things I enjoyed – the group itself was friendly and welcoming, the location was beautiful and tranquil, the lessons were excellent.

classes

Our retreats use guided walks plus tai chi and qigong exercises and principles to improve your balance and fitness and to become more aware of how you hold onto tension.

You discover how to move and stand in a way that makes you feel more relaxed, more alive and more connected to yourself and the world around you.

You will learn to get in touch with and feel your energy and that of others. You’ll learn to connect more fully with nature and how to feel a part of it.

You’ll learn how to use any walk to improve your posture and breathing and your flow of movement and energy. You’ll learn to navigate using the natural clues around you and more.

Tai Chi walking

This is unlike any other retreat you may have been on.

The group, the chats, the food were great. Best of all however were the classes, which for me created Atmosphere’ & ‘True Mindfulness

Alan Dunne (May24)

Each weekend retreat costs £480 and this includes everything – your accommodation, breakfasts, two course lunch and dinners, teas and coffees, walks, tai chi and qigong sessions and so on.
