Authentic Tai Chi and Kung Fu
Traditional Stress Coaching has its uses but it clearly doesn’t go deep enough. At least 80% of British workers still say they suffer moderate to extreme stress at work. It’s time for a new approach to workplace stress.
It isn’t what happens to you in life that counts. It is how you react to what happens to you that matters.
The majority of Stress Coaching focuses on reducing the amount of stress an individual faces. It can help people become better at saying no, setting boundaries, understanding their circle of control and so on. But it does little to alter the physiological changes that stress causes to that individual.
But it doesn’t teach you how to relax and stay relaxed under pressure. The more relaxed you are the more resilient to stress you become.
There are so many reasons why staff are becoming increasingly stressed at work. These can include:
But whatever the causes are the results are the same. Staff that struggle to cope with the demands placed upon them.
Before we get to the answer we need to understand one thing.
Stress in our lives causes us to tense up without realising it. Over time that tension builds up in our bodies and eventually causes a huge range of physical and mental health conditions. It is that tension, not the stress that is preventing staff from being able to deal with the pressures of their job.
The answer lies in teaching your staff a set of skills to control their physical tension levels, increase their energy and improve their mental focus.
For the last 25 years I have been teaching people to do exactly that. I am a tai chi and kung fu master and have developed a simple set of principles that anyone can learn. Over the last 25 years I have taught hundreds of people of all ages from school children to pensioners the skills of how to physically relax. Now I also offer effective stress coaching in Berkshire to organisations of all sizes.
The more physically relaxed you are the more stress you can cope with. It’s as simple as that.
I have developed a fun, hands-on training program for organisations of all sizes in Berkshire. The training can be delivered in two or preferably three hours and will teach you and your staff the following:
Learn skills that will last for the rest of your life.
Our training comes from the battlefields of ancient China when warriors would have to keep control of their mind, body and breathing while under life or death combat. It worked for them and it works just as well for the lesser yet more chronic stresses we face today.
