Tai chi is an extraordinary art that is becoming increasingly popular with people of all ages.
Why is Tai Chi so powerful?
- Learn how to truly relax even under stress
- Move your body like an animal with fluid power and balance
- Learn skills that can be transferred to any other sport or activity
- Bring together your mind, body, breathing and energy so you are more effective at whatever you do
Tai Chi is becoming an increasingly sought after art. It is unique way in its way of combing posture, movement and breathing to develop a body that is strong, flexible and able to withstand stress without tensing up.
Tai Chi is now popular with people of all ages from younger people looking for ways to deal with the stress in their lives to sportspeople looking to improve their game or older people seeking ways to regain the vitality of their youth. Tai chi can do all this and so much more.
There are many schools and styles of tai chi. So much depends on the experience and knowledge of your teacher. There are many people teaching now who may have certificates but have only been in the art a short time and cannot give you the depth of knowledge that makes tai chi so powerful.
When looking for a tai chi teacher ignore their qualifications and instead ask how long they have been practicing for and ask to see demonstrations of their balance, fluidity and power
Our teacher Paul Chapman has nearly 40 years experience and has been teaching for over 25 years. His demonstrations are amazing and he is friendly and approachable. There are few teachers in the country who have such experience and depth of knowledge. This helps you learn much faster and you know you’re in very safe hands.
